So you didn't bother checking other Bibles and the Inter, but instead shoot off at the mouth, so to speak.
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
No question about it here, the Father who is the God here, as Jesus defines in John 17:3, is the only one being spoken of in these passages.
We are never children of Jesus's, but brothers and sisters.
As you move on in the passages, Jesus enters the picture.
Psa 17:5 - As for me, I will behold Your face in righteousness; when I awake, I will be satisfied in Your presence.
Matt 5:8 - Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
Psa 17:15 - As for me, I will see Your face in righteousness; I shall be satisfied when I awake in Your likeness.Don't forget that seeing can also mean perceived, discern, be aware etc according to the NT Inter and I think the OT, may show similar.
So, it's up to you if you chose to deny this Clear truth.
