    Even with the word "in" wotsup, it still diminishes and contains God. To imply that God is within something implies containment, and God is the Container of all, not the contained, in my humble understanding.
    I suspect that your understanding is incorrect. It does not mean that the entirety of God is within someone. It means that inwardly the person is in contact with God and experiences God. @wotsup may wish to comment, especially if I have got what he said wrong.
    No, it doesn't diminish God but shows that God wants an intimate relationship with us.
