Ecc 3:21 -> simply says the spirit goes back to the one who gave it on death, the spirit here appears to simply be the breath of life, oxygen basically.
Hence, I do not see that quote as being good enough to support it.
The simple fact of the matter is, is there any NT verses that say one goes to heaven for example, in some form after death in the here and now.
I would have to check on what they claim are the said verses supporting this.
I still feel, that the fear of the soul being killed, is in the context that I have mentioned several times.
Rev 20:14 - And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
Done, dusted, they no longer exist = no eternal soul and especially one separate from the body, which is the living soul, also referenced as living being, which tells you what a soul is or represents. (man living)
