I would prefer a God that chooses to make himself knowable and hence capable of a relationship with me In my view, we have invented Gods that make themselves unknowable to attempt to curtail discussions about them. More importantly, such a God allows the so-called leaders to control the masses through fear and intrigue. Of the Gods that I'm aware of I think that the CC God with all its problems is my preference because by my understanding their God according to the CC reveals himself in knowable ways and therefore has a better chance of being real.
Anyway, I like throwing ideas around in the true spirit of the HC Religion and Philosophy forum so I appreciate your views.
