Adam became a living soul when he got the breath of life, is what the Bible says, it didn't say he received it (soul) on top of him becoming a living soul.
"Nup. Not even close. Lungs die. Adam was an eternal being when created."
Clearly, originally they didn't.
Not to mention you see how life got shorter as time went on as well, so if it got shorter, God could clearly have made that same life eternal.
Are you proposing, that despite Adam getting the breath of life in his nostrils, that he had no lungs because they die
