Not to mention, let Gen 2:7 do the talking, man gets the breath of life and is then defined as a living soul = living being.
He is deemed as a living soul and did NOT get a soul after getting the breath of live.

Actions performed from and within the man (the package), can then be referred to as the soul or spirit of him.

It's so so simple, right at the beginning of the Book.

Wotsup we are not denying that the word "breath" might imply that God gave us the oxygen to breath and sustain our life.

What we are asking is how you then conclude that it is oxygen which is the human spirit.

There no such equating in the Bible.
