My local Butcher shut recently, we lost our Green Grocer a year before, we now have only one Bank (three at one stage)and now five Real Eastate Agents.

If you are doing well, that's good for you, but this decline and the inbalance it's created is very damaging for some.The Retail Slowdown started long before the bushfires but if you can't see it, then you can't see it.

Attacking the ABC may play out well in an echo chamber of "insular well to do types" but they are certainly not the majority. And the more you leave behind the harder it will be to have a genuine population wide recovery. If ever that is the goal of any Coalition Federal Government.

Honestly one could be forgiven for thinking that the economic plan of this Government is basically to bring about Fuedalism by stealth.
