A more effective move is for retailers to stop sacking people before they need to
Went to Spotlight the other day - not a place I am comfortable with but huge store, a number of people there and a row of people waiting at the single check out lady, --- I could not find any other people anywhere in the whole building
Went to Aldi today, yes a good sprinkling of people shopping but guess what, ONE cashier operating, looked into their storage area, no one to be seen, I was tempted to walk out as there was five people waiting in front of me all with full trolleys, only one staff member in the store!
It is a guarantee --- no service -- no business -- self destruction
