Retailers only have themselves to blame. They declared war on their customers some years ago.

Whinging and asking for taxpayers to bale them out will no solve their problems.

I can't remember when I last walked into a shop to buy anything but groceries.

Supermarkets have disenfranchised their customers by charging for plastic bags and self serve check outs.

I now shop, as far as practical, at my local green grocers and butchers. Anything else I only buy on special.
