I can't see how there network will not shrink by over 50% this year. Any franchisees that are not on a lease would have walked by now. Those with a lease expiring this year will also likely walk.
In my area alone all RFG stores have closed. All other franchised cafes have also closed.
Sure the bakery division was going ok for a few panic buying weeks but that is over now. I suspect they are quiet as well.
This is a terrible situation for all retail and hospitality. There are no winners. I note my local Woolworths is sending staff home and cutting shifts as people are staying home and conserving money.
Let's see what the store count is when they next report.
