Thank you recko1 for providing a kind of balanced analogy of CER predicament.

One obvious way out for the multi-million dollar solution would be to find a buyer as stupid as centro who is prepared to pay way over NTA for a piece of emerging post GFC prosperity, now that would be a fabulously starring solution, why haven't CER thought of that already and if so, why hasn't it happened yet ?.

I have never ever known a cheer squad or its pom pom waving long white booted cheer leaders to have a balanced view of anything they are shouting about. Effervescent egos and moist infatuations for their heroes make for more interest among the following sheep than reality ever will.

no doubt there will be many mehhs and baas in unison to the contrary.

good luck to holders as the scant details emerge. If you think that management are there to add shareholder value for you and it is in every bodies interest that they do so, consider the present day value of any 15 month old plus babcock and brown holding, assets still exist quite nicely thnx. Preferential shares/units are wonderful things in the right hands and those hands are usually where the money is.

Does anyone have a top twenty shareholders list for CNP and CER available ?
CNP 51% of CER is the first line, are there any other large holders worth noting or are they mostly high risk suckers now.

CNP could be a worry in this regard, which makes CER the safer course but we know that already, but possibly not the extent of damage that can be done to CNP due to lack of substantial holders.

    ifandwhen

advisory caution :- be wary of investing on pom pom opinions
