Just got off the phone with Ian Kirkham where I was expressing my furor (politely)about the low ball offer from STO and ESG's acceptance of it and he tended to blamed the offer price on the Government, Carbon Tax bla bla bla anything but ESG failure to be able to negotiate a decent takeover price. I told him that I participated in the SPP three years ago @0.85 and asked him did I wait three years for an extra 5 cents and he gave me the political runaround and said that the Independent Experts report has to come yet and it seemed like they (ESG) were pinning their hopes on this report. If this is the case then why did they accept the low ball offer?? Very hard to get a strait answer from him!
