The retail sector has been one that i have always been interested in. I don't hold metcash but believe it has potential under the right conditions. If i was running the company i would start buying up all the independent IGA's that are for sale. There are quite a few listed for sale across the country. This i believe would transform the market place and provide them with better returns but that is easier said than done. And management have done a top job given the conditions of the market at the moment good to see them buying shares also.
