This is not true, a good CEO is very important to a business...they are like a company strategist, they direct
and guide the troops where to go, what to acquire and work out strategy to deal with competitions.
When Roger Corbett Join WOW, WOW is a dog, he turn it around and took it to the top.
When Coles run buy John Fletchers it was a dog of a business
When Richard Goyder Took on Coles, it kicking ass, Goyder
doesnt run Coles but like I said he's a strategist, he employ the right people to run it and have process in place to out do its rival.
Here are a few more example...
Oroton was a dog of a business until Sally MacDonald comes a long.. she turn from a loss making business to a power house in luxury goods and increase profit, margin unlike any of her rival.
When Jack Weld becomes General Electric CEO ...it was an inefficient machine with $26B in revenue.
by the time Jack left GE, it has a revenue of $130B and an efficient work force ....
