Hi, retirement incomes and its associated taxation both have to be on the agenda. The present system is unsustainable. The sector just doesn't pay enough tax. And it gets worse the longer it is left. Recent attempts by the labor party to address the issue were inept in the extreme. That doesn't make the problem go away. Morrison played a big role in the first step towards sanity, the 1.6 million cap. Dont be surprised if we see steps 2, 3 and 4 in this term of government. I assume that your warning is that the libs could find themselves in trouble if they take on my entitled age cohort again. I disagree, fair, sensible changes will be worn grudgingly, but accepted. There is some pretty easy changes available to Morrison, changes which the senate are likely to pass thru. Watch Morrison give the ALP a lesson on what they should have done. I could be wrong, he might be planning to abolish the aged pension, tax everybody with less than 1mill in super, feed all aged who cant prove they voted liberal to his cat, but I doubt it. cheers
