Rocket, I like your style... Like you guys I have spent a lot of time mulling over this subject. The biggest problem for me, is that like you I am cursed with a low threshold for boredom... A week on one spot is a eternity..
I looked seriously at buying a beach condo in Thailand, but decided after the first week, buyers remorse would set it..
So now the decision is a boat for 4-6 months a year.. A nice unit near coffee water bikeways bars movies and gyms..
A camper trailer thingy for the back of the 4wd.... For the wife.
And about 2-3 months overseas in Europe or North America...
1000 hours of debate and negotiations are now closed... Except for the location of the unit or villa...
