I'm sure most self employed/subbbie brickies etc would have a bit of a chuckle at your dream world vision of them being able to carry someone sitting in an office all day.
Most of theses self employed/subbies office is their own home where they prepare quotes etc.
Just think your post highlights how insulated you are from the real world. At a guess I'd say your probably on the public service teat, you know, one of those jobs where you if you didn't show up for a month no-one would notice.
