watso pays his own way - but has an geriatrics concession card (damn it, but watso still needs to ring the electricity company to get some benefit - it could have something to do with the supply charge), and watso uses the free train transport sometimes.

apparently the single pension is $20,000 per annum - and frankly, if watso was getting that money, and spending it, that would be like living in luxury. frankly the pension is way too much.

watso's mother lived real comfortably on a part pension, and whatever it was that she got from her husbands pension scheme (or whatever it was- but it was a long term, low paid job) - and never complained.

(what happened here - here??? - all of a sudden, the print is in italics - and cannot be unformatted!!!!).

frankly, life is too good, and people complain.

watso's parents did not drink (but a little smoking), and social life revolved around the church. priority was to pay off the houses, when they upgraded. lucky that the first block of land cost 25 pound (ie $50), and could be repaid in a matter of months).

sadly, for the majority of pensioners who might want to complain, is that they wasted their money, in earlier years.

mmm - not long after the print went into italics, there seemed to be a bit of a shorting sound coming from the computer (or nearby) - maybe the dust needs to be cleaned out.
