We can't give advice here - however, we can share experiences. THE BEST thing I ever did for my physical and mental health --------- was to throw the TV out the window and stop listening to anything on radio except music. Even with ABC classic FM - as soon as they speak - I turn it off.
At any time in history there are always 'concerns' around that threaten our personal security - there is an entire industry out there that just exists to spread fear and concern - that sells papers, TV time, internet click ads and subscriptions.
The very point is -------------------------------- whatever is going to happen is going to happen anyway ------------- whether or not you realise it - whether or not you worry about it.
My advice to myself ---------------- turn em off - and go and do what you want to do and leave the rest of the world to the dysfunctional's who inhabit it and make the rules.
IF things change ------------ manage it then. All you do thinking about it before and worrying about it is to stuff up your life and make things unpleasant - and, in all likelihood - giving yourself health problems.
imo -------------------- BIN it, turn it off, throw it out.
If you let something into your life - make it movies and or music and nil else.
You survived this far ------------ I doubt if you won't go the distance.
