Assuming you are married, own your own home and a reliable car, the pension is quite adequate.
You are EXPECTED to exhaust whatever super you have [over time], you can't say "I want to leave that to the kids so give me a higher pension", it doesn't work that way. You may be suffering something like "buyer's remorse" and I don't think it will last long. Retirement isn't all bad.
Why not go on a cruise as a reward? Retirement will seem hectic after that.
