1. Healthcare is a big issue. Firstly the ability to get cover once you are over a certain age and secondly the cost if you can get cover.

2. Be aware that the Australian Working Life Residency rules were changed a few years ago. This may affect you.

3. Consider remaining a resident of Australia but taking holidays to Bali etc. Take out travel insurance to cover yourself whilst overseas.
