    selling to make a loss and rebuying is a wash sale which is the ATO does not recognise the loss. naturally you wouldnt advise clients of such action.

    I have never been a fan of tax loss selling anyway. I buy to make a profit not a loss.

    Do I think we are selling tax selling at the moment...not to the extent we have seen in previous years.
