Another competitor to JB hifi in Victoria and Tasmania is on its last legs.
So far this year, we have seen Dick smith downsize 100 shops, Harvey Norman downsize, WOW sound in liquidation,GAME go in receivership and Myer decided to phase out electronics from their stores.
This would represent a significant percentage of market share that is no longer around.
JB Hifi must be in a good position to take more market share and margins normalizing as a consequence.
