Be careful when comparing Nicanda Hill with Balama. A cursory bit of research will tell you that Balama has graphite grades which are in the mid teens whereas Nicanda Hill is closer to 10%. Also the all important vanadium grade is closer to 0.5% at Balama and closer to 0.25% at Nicanda. More importantly at Balama the vanadium is throughout the graphite at Balama it is only in limited narrow bands (2-3 m wide) at Nicanda.
