If I understand it correctly Rams is selling its distribution network and loans marketed by distribtion network after mid November for $140m. "The business to be acquired includes the RAMS brand, franchise network and associated mortgage origination and servicing systems and contracts needed to run the distribution business."
There are 353m Rams shares on issue so thsi equates to just under 40c/share.
I note RAMS Limited will continue and gets to keep loans written up till 15 November 2007.
The question is what is left once the distribution network is gone....how much is that worth?
Am not sure this is a great deal for RAMS shareholders.
