I agree I Mad Dog I don't really see the connection between market sentiment impacting dividends. Unless you are referring to market sentiment impacting cost of finance which intern could impact dividends. But as you say, little debt needs to be refinanced in short term. As far as RJT is concerned the underlying rents seem to be going very well and it has very good interest coverage ratio.
The best buys on the market? Perhaps and that is precisely the only thing that worries me, is it all too good to be true? And if they are the best buys on the mkt, well the way the buybacks have been progressing obviously Rubicon's management don't think so? If they start buying back shares I can sleep easily, but the fact they are not well does that indicate problems in refinancing the short term debt they need to do? As I said they did say they were supposedly committed to reducing the discount to NTA's.
