If we assume your logic that plastic bags aren’t reused, they still don’t take up as much space in the landfill as disposable nappies. Don’t forget that there is a fair bit of plastic in manufacturing these disposable nappies.
Thus, these nappies are dual pollutants through being plastic and leaching fecal matter into the ground water.
Now, tell me, which of the two is definitely a single use item?
So disposable nappies should be taken off the shopping shelves, as the alternative cloth nappies still exists!
