All this BYO is going to cause massive problems.
Just to back track a little, how many times have you been 'served' at any shop/store
where the person serving you has a cold, is coughing/sneezing into their cupped hand,
then touching your goods, or your change?
I NEVER buy take away coffees, so that won't be a problem for me,
but mark my words, there will be an influx of illnesses/diseases being
spread, all traceable back to a 'common source', where you've been shopping.
Shop attendants will at least maintain the min. standards of hygiene,
but the person in front of you, passing their bags over to get loaded,
when was the last time they washed their hands, is their coffee cup
full of salmonella or something similar? Scares me !!!
The name Typhoid Mary comes to mind.
Need to educate/penalise those that DON'T dispose of their rubbish
correctly, not endanger the health of others, under the guise
of stopping pollution in our oceans.
#Ever watch Bear Grylls "The Island" ?
Look at the plastics/fishing nets washed up there,
but I don't recall seeing one coffee cup, or shopping bag.
Look at what's underwater around Bali, for example.
PEOPLE are the problem, not plastic.
