I certainly didn't get the feeling that any acquisition was on the cards, when talking to Damian.
More relevant was the talk that they still believe that GSK is the leading pharma company for all asthma drugs - and would still continue to seek a partnership on Lani and any other drugs of that nature.
The talk that GSK may have breached contract and Biota may seek an 'out' was met with a rebuttal - and a firm tale on why all is OK in the legal dept.
I'd be very surprised to see another purchase, as finances are not too brilliant right now. No problem, but outlay needed to get Lani and other projects off the ground etc.
Mind you I've been wrong plenty!
