re: zinc prices down on lme fri nite Why wouldn't it be hedge funds selling? I read a good post about them I think on the xjo thread how they need really strong returns and that pressure leads to alot of volatility.

I thought one of the main reasons for the drop was the fall in copper below a strategic trendline and then bouts of technical selling?

Sure demand slows when prices increase but that's not the whole picture. Stockpiles dropped 1500 and the price went down 4% - that's not just demand slowing to me.
