I was expecting an announcement confirming the delivery of the FEED proposal... which has yet to happen.
My speculation is... ASM will have received the proposal within the 31 March exclusivity deadline because if that deadline was missed it would have required an update to the market saying so ... imo.
My guess... ASM is now working on the financing before they can announce any decision to accept the proposal.
The election will be called any day now. In the 'caretaker' period I doubt the government can commit funds to anything... so, either we will hear something about the $200M govt. offer to support ASM with raising debt in the next few days or it will be a couple of months from now once the election result is in.
How important is the $200M to ASM to get this over the line? Does a delay from the govt. slow down ASM's plans?
