@Tommmo For a seller, trading off market can be interesting. For example, on Fiday, the Australian quoted the value per share of UPD, post aquisition of Bridgevine, at $1.50.
But does that mean that is the new market value? I don't think so. The off-market value is the price a buyer and seller can agree to, and also involves an opportunity price on both sides.Just as brokers' valuations do not always reflect on-market transactions, media valuations will never reflect off-market transactions. It's just the nature of the deal.
