Some other Updater news I've been following... Updater were part of a $7.2bn TRANSCOM military contract. Unfortunately the contract was awarded to another bidder (ARC), but it was protested. After a quick 'reassessment' by TRANSCOM, the contract was re-awarded to the original winner (ARC), but has been protested again - and for good reason. Winning this contract would be huge for Updater, but not holding my breath because who knows how they decide these things. I'm not sure which bid Updater are a part of, but it is one of the protesting bidders. It is a strange story though, and its hard to see why ARC was chosen. Worth a read though.
