Updater is a very small entity of a large partnership bidding on the US Military Contract and not known by the other bidders. No award has been given yet. However, I have been told that if the previous account does not win it, lawsuits will be delaying it further because they have a strong case. Note, the previous winner and front runner, is not partnered with Updater.
Regarding Dolly, this was a necessary purchase since most of the van lines in the US will not work with Updater and cancelled their contracts with MoveHQ. These van lines look at Updater as a competitor (a data grab) and are well underway in developing tools, technology and relationships to compete against them. Updater is just a middleman in the entire move process, and I’ve been told, made a huge mistake not partnering with the major carriers in the states.
