Exploration

Munali, Zambia
Surface Exploration
No surface exploration works were conducted on the Munali Mining License during the 2010 year. An exploration
program is being developed during 2011.

Underground Exploration

Sludge Drilling
Underground exploration works for the year 2010 involved sludge drilling. Areas drilled include the 995, 970, 945, 920, and 895 levels. The works in these areas were used for ore body definition, and grade control.

Diamond Drilling
A DE130 diamond drilling machine was acquired for underground infill drilling. The machine was delivered to Munali mine site in November 2010. However, due to late delivery of vital drilling consumables by the supplier, drilling only
commenced on the 13 January 2011.


Zimba
The Zimba tenement located in Zimba district is a Ni target that is 100% Albidon. No exploration works were conducted on the Zimba tenement in 2010.


Namwala
The Namwala tenement located in Mumbwa district is a Ni/Cu target that is 100% Albidon. No exploration works were
conducted on the Namwala tenement in 2010.



Mpande
The Mpande tenement located in Kafue district is a Ni/Cu target that is 100% Albidon. No exploration works were
conducted on the Mpande tenement in 2010.



Tanzania
Songea Ni Project
Exploration of the Songea project was undertaken from July to November 2010. Activities included;
1.Tenement renewal of the 5 tenements in the project area in March 2010.
Geochemical soil sampling Mbinga and Liparamba prospects. 1040 soil samples were collected (including
duplicates and standards).
Ten (10) drill holes have been planned totalling 4000m for the Mbinga and Liparamba prospects to be drilled in the
second quarter of 2011.
