Let's say AV1 charges 1% of clients' ad budget, that's $4B of online ad spend per year.
Recently, Google recorded Ad revenue of about USD60B (about AUD85B) per quarter, or about $340B annually.
So $4B is about 1.2% of Google Ad revenue.
Not so far-fetched in a longer run, not to mention other ad channels if AV1 can offer solutions, but it depends a lot on sales and marketing from AV1.
