One thing that has confused me is the repeated reference in Philips releases and presentations to a "commercial launch" in 2016 or whenever. Is this the same thing in 'Eurospeak' as a "market launch". Just seems an odd choice of words - 'commercial' implies almost a conceptual threshold that has been met as they perceive the product as a likely commercially viable product but a step prior to a "market launch", i.e. it works, the numbers are feasible, lets complete the clinical trial and then if the data is good release it to the market.
Any MBA's or Euro's out there who can clarify if there is a difference?
