mc117, the SPP is not even born yet- shareholders will vote for all that later. You never know what will happen in the interim, so perhaps these prices are worth paying (sorry- non-holder here, and I sympathise with current long holders- none of whom have made any money).
As Lairy posted, Blumont received a speeding ticket today, so shareholders must be happy with their strategies and think this DML stuff is a good deal for them. Hence, they are unlikely to pull the plug on this. They have already spent some money on DML, with a placement at a current premium. They'll add more later. The SPP is not dead in the water. It doesn't exist yet.
