Let's all agree that this baby isn't conforming to logic.

With record prices for tin and falling stockpiles, logic says that MLX should be exploding, but it's not. Why?

Are we all falling for the magicians trick of getting the audience to watch the wrong hand?

Here are a few scenarios, please add to them:

A long term plan is in play to buy MLX...but phase 1 is destabilisation of the price to shake loose small disenchanted holders.

MLX is a pawn in a much bigger chinese play involving MLX other junior iron-ore companies and a negotiating game with the heavy hitters, BHP/RIO.

China is not yet certain about Aussie acceptance of it been on share register and is waiting to swoon the world with Beijing Olympics.

There could be a big near-term institutional offering to cough up big bucks to fund massive future infrastructure and this is the entree of the mystery buyer.

Somebody is fiddling with the stockpiles and the price of tin. So, the market and MLX isn't as good as we think.

Somebody knows about an imminent production explosion of low cost tin/ore and so, MLX ain't as good as we think.

The Chinese/Indians are attempring to punish Australia because it is stamping its authority too much on the supply side of all the stuff we dig up.

Finally, MLX is genuinely flying below the radar and/or the audience are watching a more fancied company.

Me? I think we are watching the wrong hand the MLX rabbit is in the hat! We just need patience.
