The reason why I, along with others don't understand these dumb rules is because they're made up so there is nothing to understand. In fact the Hobbit makes more sense than this shite.
Furthermore, you didn't want to have a crack at what happens when the gap fills will it go up or back down.
Last - not a good idea to tell someone that they don't understand stuff making the assumption that I do things without consideration. I can assure you my questions are well considered and are not born out of ignorance on the subject.
At the end of the day all you managed to do, with due respect, is not answer the question and show to an extent that you don't understand gaps.
