review meeting with fda - what is the news, page-2

Yes Yogi - I was wondering the same thing. I can only assume that the FDA is thinly stretched at the moment. There is some commentary on the FDA website about agency operations being limited during the furlough. There is an exception for "activities funded by carryover user fee balances, including user fee balances under the Prescription Drug User Fee Act (PDUFA)" but I don't know what this means in practice.

If I had to guess, I would say the chaps are continuing their discussions but the agency is only running on half steam.

Does anyone else have any insight?
