Ok Spid some more info. The trays were trialled and then the project was shelved because the loading of ore was causing fracturing due to the rigidity of the carbon structure. The issue was not wear resistance per se. Perhaps the graphene benefit of increasing flexibility has got merit here?
I do know someone who is close to Chris Ellison and he will give him a call to enquire further.
