I was anticipating a slow fuse but it seems to be flat lining. Even the "good" Walmart outlets appear to have not sold more than one each over 2 months (from CFO's comments). The HP branding may have helped but the online process is a handicap for outlet sales. The HP Pro does not exist on the HP website and if NUH could negotiate for them to add a category of hearing assist, that alone might surpass sales from other outlets and at the same time provide advertisement for the HP Pro on a busily tracked site. Perhaps even link or transfer the fruitless, stand alone HP Pro website onto the HP website. With regard to Walmart outlets, if NUH is going to concentrate on only the demographically best 20% , why not place the HP pro in that 1000 stores eg 5 per store from the one production run? Whatever the ratio, they need some to be in a bricks and mortar situation as well as online.
