considering you acknowledge that 'Walmart systems are pretty much fixed for all suppliers'
what do you think Nuheara should have done?
say no to Walmart for all the reasons you've outlined?
or
accept the standard Walmart conditions and take the level of opportunity their exposure can provide?
I'll happily acknowledge you know your onions on US retail.
I personally never understood why Walmart would outright buy 4000/8000 units for a unproven product within an unproven new electronic category.
not to mention said product is scheduled to be superseded within the next 3 months.
for all the valid reasons you've sensibly outlined, Walmart will never be left with their pants down.
Nuheara are no different to any other Walmart OTC supplier.
however I do believe the pro is merely a Walmart test case for the pending Gen 4 which I believe Walmart have greater confidence in due to upgraded specs, change in form factor and lower production cost.
