Remember that pre-TNF testing is only a small niche compared to all LTBI testing - and this is just for one European country - even if it is the largest.
A similar guideline has been in place in Switzerland for well over 18 months and we don't hear of huge sales as a result.
This is why the company has not made more of this news.
As you say the CDC guidelines will have a much greater impact (assuming they increase the scope of IGRA testing compared to the 2005 guidelines) as they will relate to all LTBI tesing situations and will be for a much bigger market.
The PR boys should then make a song and dance.
