This news is going to hurt BKN for a while, undoubtedly. Yesterday was severe. Some talk around that analysts were really unhappy that a round of presentations in late October were upbeat with no acknowledgement of any potential for this downgrade so they just might smack BKN for some time.
Those who are contemplating entering or buying more will clearly be rewarded later with plenty of upside over next 12 months - 2 years. Short term (like next 2-3 months) holds plenty of curiosity - could be $10 in a week or 2 or might not be pretty. Christmas is now a factor in recovery timeframe.
After all the bagging this copped yesterday BKN is fundamentally a very well positioned company that may now be the victim of over zealous investors.
Heaven help any company that puts forward a downgrade.
