Global electric car sales reached 10.2m in 2022, is likely to reach 15m in 2023 with China alone selling 10m units.
After Tesla China's price cuts and promotions, the average daily sales volume increased by nearly 80% year-on-year Golden Ten Data, January 18th, data compiled by CMB International showed that after Tesla cut prices earlier this month, Tesla’s average daily sales in China from January 9th to January 15th were higher than those in 2022. That surged 76 percent to 12,654 vehicles over the same period.
