The answer is that Walmart wants to delay the start as they are trying to finalise additional sponsor/s for this before it kicks off.

To me this likely means more marketing will be done as these sponsors will also be using their channels but the Mogul team are ready, eager and waiting for Walmart to give the 'go'.

As others have mentioned this isn't Mogul's tournament it is Walmart's as such they call the shots and we provide the service.

The finals have always been in October so the end date hasn't changed.
