Q400 aren't the right aircraft for 80% of the ports serviced by Rex. Not to mention they require longer runways, more fuel per mile. Casa and dornier are essentially military aircraft.
Honestly I think the board don't care for the investors thoughts because very little is actually traded and most of it is locked up with Lim Kim Hai and his close friends. Any forward planning with airfrane types will cause a steep decline in share price as a saab airframe costs them 1.5 million max to import before engineering costs, while a q400 is insanely higher than that. In that case I feel like the current board would have run for the hills by that point.
