It may or may not be suss, depending on what the Parliament House HR rules are.
In public companies I have been involved with if a similar matter arose and the complainant reported it to HR and asked for anonymity they would have been told that the MD MUST be told.
The MD would then have to decide if he/she would advise the other Directors and the decision was yes he/she could limit what the others were told and advise them that all would be revealed IF a complaint was lodged with the police, but in the meantime he/she would be generally across it and HR were the responsible party for carriage of the matter.
